Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy S25 Edge, an ultra-thin smartphone that aims to introduce innovations in design and features. Presented at the Unpacked 2025 event in San Jose, the device drew attention for its thickness of around 6.4 millimeters, which puts it roughly 2 millimeters thinner than the Galaxy S25 Ultra and 1 millimeter thinner than the Galaxy S25+.
Design and Display
The Galaxy S25 Edge keeps a display size similar to the Galaxy S25+, with thin bezels that deliver an immersive experience. The ultra-thin design does not compromise build quality, and it offers an elegant, modern look.
The Galaxy S25 Edge uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and delivers solid performance for multitasking and demanding apps. Although there is no detailed information on RAM and internal storage, expectations point to premium Samsung standards, at around 12 GB of RAM.
The Galaxy S25 Edge stands out with a 200 MP main camera, complemented by a 12 MP ultrawide lens. While the main camera can deliver detailed, clear images, the absence of a telephoto lens may frustrate photography enthusiasts. However, the simpler camera system may appeal to users who prefer a more understated approach.
Samsung stated that the Galaxy S25 Edge is set for release in April 2025. However, the company has not yet disclosed the countries where it will launch or its price. More details are expected as the release date approaches.
