Recently, Huawei introduced the Mate XT Ultimate Design, the first globally available smartphone with a triple-folding screen, marking notable progress in mobile technology.

The Mate XT features an elegant design with vegan leather finishes and a hinge structure that enables three distinct usage modes:
- Standard Mode: Works like a conventional smartphone with a 6.4-inch display.
- Dual Mode: By unfolding one section, it becomes a 7.9-inch device, ideal for browsing and reading.
- Triple Mode: When fully unfolded, it offers an expansive 10.2-inch display, delivering a tablet-like experience.
This versatile design allows users to adjust the device to their needs, whether for daily tasks or media consumption.
The Mate XT, powered by the Kirin 9010 5G processor and 16 GB of RAM, delivers smooth and efficient performance. Storage options range from 256 GB to 1 TB, providing ample space for apps, photos, and videos. With a 5,600 mAh battery, it supports 66W fast charging, ensuring extended battery life.
Advanced Camera System
The Mate XT’s camera system includes:
- 50 MP Main Camera: With a ten-step variable aperture, it captures sharp images in different lighting conditions.
- 12 MP Ultra-Wide Lens: Ideal for landscape and group photos.
- 12 MP Periscope Lens: Offers up to 5.5x optical zoom, enabling detailed long-distance shots.
The 8 MP front camera ensures high-quality selfies and clear video calls.
The Mate XT runs HarmonyOS 4.2, offering an intuitive, unified user interface. In addition, the device supports satellite communication, ensuring connectivity even in regions without terrestrial network access.
At the moment, the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design is only available for purchase in China, priced at 19,999 yuan (around $2,500). There are no details yet about its availability in other markets.
