Recently, Google announced the release of new artificial intelligence features for the Pixel 9 family, with an emphasis on “Gemini Live” and “Circle to Search.” These innovations aim to enhance the user experience, making it more dynamic and effective.
Gemini Live: Real-Time Interaction
“Gemini Live” enables users to interact dynamically with images, files, and videos directly on their Pixel devices. For example, when you include an image in a conversation, Gemini Live can provide details and suggestions in real time. Likewise, when sharing documents, the assistant can discuss the content, and when watching YouTube videos, Gemini Live offers additional insights and clarifications.
Another innovative feature is “Circle to Search,” which simplifies searching for information. Users receive AI-generated summaries that highlight elements such as places, high-quality images, or unique objects. In addition, the system identifies phone numbers, email addresses, and URLs, enabling quick actions such as making calls, sending emails, or browsing the internet with a single tap.
Initially, these features are being rolled out to the Pixel 9 series and to Samsung Galaxy S24 and S25 devices. They are expected to become available soon for Pixel 6 models and later.
